Each new search begins with an in-person meeting with representatives of the client organization. The meeting is designed to define the position goals, responsibilities, objectives and search guidelines.
The client meeting produces the Search Strategy, Position Description, and a Letter of Agreement. The Search Strategy explains how the search will be conducted and our understanding of your needs. The Position Description is designed to describe both the position and the candidate. Once the client has approved the Search Strategy and Position Description, the Letter of Agreement is signed and the search begins.
Research & Sourcing
Each search assignment is unique and thus we believe each search assignment requires original research. In addition to the target companies identified during the client meeting, we will utilize our extensive resource library, national network of contacts, trade associations and other sources to identify appropriate candidates. A candidate profile is developed which details employment history, educational background, accomplishments, reason for interest and present compensation.
In-depth, in-person interviews are conducted by the consultant to further evaluate candidates who have expressed interest in the position.
Presentation of Candidates
Written candidate assessments are presented to the client on those individuals who most closely match the Position Description. From these individuals, we develop a short list of candidates to be interviewed by the client.
The consultant will assist in arranging interviews with the client and selected candidates. We will also provide a client company and community information packet to the candidate.
Once the finalist candidates have been identified, in-depth reference assessments will be completed.
The consultant will help the client structure and communicate a competitive compensation package designed to attract the candidate to the organization
